Invisible

by toughluck   May 16, 2005

When you were playing the piano
And the crowd was cheering your name
I was there…
Grasping your beautiful face

When you were eating your favorite pasta
Then a stain sprinkles your shirt
I was there…
Wiping away its dirty pieces

When you were staring blankly in the stars
And the sky was kneeling before you
I was there…
Dreaming closely just to be near you

When you were crying up into tears
As your heart seeks for comfort
I was there…
Willing to offer whatever it takes

When you were married and found your true love
With Promises made and petals showering
I was there…
Smiling behind tears just to make you feel happy

When you were watching your precious grandson
As he takes his first memorable steps
I was there…
Making it sure he wouldn’t fall down

When you were seriously ill
As your heart kept fighting but your body didn’t
I was there…
Whispering the words, ‘Don’t Ever Give Up’

When you were lying in your tomb
And the heavens shining before you
I was there…
Waiting for the moment that we could finally meet
