Miss Lewis

by sophie boone   May 17, 2005

How dare they take your life?
No thought for those who loved you,
Your life was taken so long to live,
At 24 there was no need to die

When Ms English told us,
It took my breath away,
“Today she said I have some news,
Miss Charlotte Lewis has been tragically killed”

We all turned our heads in search of 7P6,
Who to our disappointment were not present?
But in the library mourning.
We all love and miss you.

Why you?
Why not someone else
I’d never wish someone’s death
But in this case I am.
