In any relation

by Sabine Taylor   May 17, 2005

Love you called it once
But that’s the wrong explanation
For what we had, for what is over now
How could you dare to use
This pure and faithful word
And relating it to you and me
Though you knew
That there won’t ever be love
Between the two of us

You talked about it
As if it would be a pillowslip
You change from time to time
Because “I love you”
Is no sentence to take back again
These words’ intensity
Is nothing for weak minds

Picking the right words
Might not always be easy
But for true feelings
There is a way to present
All the time

Never was a time
This word : Love
Filled with faith and honesty
Was apposite to you and me
In any relation
