Chained and caged

by Gothichick   May 18, 2005

My whole life I've striven to break free. the ones i trusted the most are the ones that chained me. A nagging mother, a bratty little brother, a bi#*hy younger sister, a child molesting step father. I finally broke free of the chains and started to fly when I met you and fell in love I expected you to help me stretch my wings and soar.
Instead you trapped me. At first I thought you were holding on to me to keep all the bad out but you were slowly putting me in a cage. When a living, breathing, growing creature is contained in a cage for to long it starts to die. In a way I am dead I have no life. I just turned 16 and have a 1 year old son he is the only life I have. I can only hope that you don't cage him too. Even through all the pain and the cage I still love you mike. Some day I will be free In death i will find true peace. You know life is really ironic we strive to survive but we live to die. Written for my one true love he caged me and I still love him. Maybe after reading this you'll set me free.
