I cannot give you the ocean,
i cannot give you the sea,
I cannot give you a river,
I can only give you me,

I wouldn't give you a flower,
I wouldn't give you a rose,
I wouldn't give you a petal,
I would give you love i suppose,

I mustn't give you a bird,
I mustn't give you a bug,
I mustn't give you a Rabbit,
but I must give you a hug,

I can tell you now my friend,
you're special but we're apart,
I'd give you all of these things,
because I love you with my heart!
