Serene Surrender. (Acrostic)

by brin macnamara   May 19, 2005

S urfacing through an ocean of tears I
capitulate with passive

E motions streaming, blinking at a
watery sun

R ising on an existance without my the
lovely one

E maciation takes hold of my forlorn
heart

N o more will my conscious senses
eagerly await her daily visition,pray
god

E volve my heart to grow a corner
consecrated to My Lovely One alone.

S ing a different song & her memory will
fade the world commands without

U nderstanding the depth of passion that
I hold for her.

R aise now the white flag, acknowledge
lovers we will never be,a love in secret
to

R emain.

E ncoded in subtle deeds of affection
known only to me & one close by.

N ow my dreams lie dying on the
battleground of unrequited love

D eath creeps upon my heart
slowly,defeated by another in painful
anonymity.

E ntombed,mummified,my love now a
museum piece

R esplendent in its death mask.

(Goodbye to TLO)
