First love,
it was all a lie.
thought it was real
but all it made me do was cry.

tears stream down my face
he cheated on me
he had my heart
he held the key.

he told me he loved me
i thought it was true
he said he’d never hurt me
guess that was a lie too.

head spinning
with so many worries
couldn't see properly
everything is blurry.

picked up a knife
and began to cut
people tried helping
but my door was shut.

my life was ruined
a total mess
couldn't sleep.
because of so much stress

but i realized
he wasen’t my life
and there was no reason
to pick up that knife.

moved on
started dating
all i have to do
is keep waiting.
