Far Away

by **Babydoll**   May 20, 2005

I was young and naive
You were brave and easy to believe
You held my hand
Through all my fears
You made all my heartbreaks, disappear.

You took my breath away with one glance
You stole my soul with our first dance
You taught me how to laugh
And how to cry
You never forgot to hold me
On dark cold nights

You whispered I love you
On that dark December night
You held me close
As your body and mine combined

I love you more than life itself
I miss you more than I can tell
You have left my side and gone your way
You've found a new life
and left me in the rain.

I hope she'll love you the way I do
I hope she'll never break your heart
I hope she'll be good to you
And never tear you apart.
