A smile forms around my lips
As you step into the room
I can no longer deny it
This wanting for you blooms.
I wish you could see me
See me standing there
And know for once in this life
Someone really cares.
But you walk right past me
And notice not a thing.
You can’t see me.
You don’t see anyone.
But suddenly you see me
A smile pierces that angelic face
And your gaze floats in my direction
How could I not possible feel,
Like I’m wanted in there?
But I know just like the others
That this feeling just won’t last
And sadly it hurts me
That this will be a thing of the past
