Harvey

I don’t need him like I used to
And I don’t love him as I did
My heart can beat without out his rhythm
And the desperation I once poured is hid
No longer is he my reason
Though I still need him near,
Life no longer hangs on his every word
Yet he’s still the only one who can dry my tears.
I can survive a day without him
And I can live without his touch
I no longer need his hand to walk
Yet without him I’d be unable to do so much
His presence no longer dictates my actions
Though time drags exhaustingly when we’re apart
No matter how great the divide
There’s still the whisper of his name in my heart
