My parachute defective

by Sabine Taylor   May 24, 2005

This is like falling down
No stop to keep me
From hitting the ground
Cold and hard
My parachute defective
No chance to get out

Faster, even faster
Towards depth
My arms I spread
Wings I wish them to be
Which will keep me from falling
Even deeper

Biting air surrounding my body
That my brain gets frozen
And my cries become stuck in my throat
Nobody will hear me
But everybody will see
When my injured body will rest
In silence unable to move
On the cold stone ground

Helpless I lose every knowledge
Time and space smut
In endless fall
The immobility exercises control
On my body and mind
While in the distance
Gossip flushes to my ear
