A Fairytale Story Of Lost Love

A true love now lost so long ago,
A heart broken and beyond repair,
A young girl mourns her one true love,
Those feelings which they didn't share.

She looks out to the sky above,
And lets out a tiny cry,
Like the hair cascading down her back,
Silent tears fall from her eye.

Brilliant stars twinkle in the night,
And there flys a wish she made,
'I wish for our love to last forever,
I hope my feelings never fade.

I know my Prince is out there,
Searching desperately for me,
I believe one day he will be back,
He'll come from far to rescue me.'

Everyday our Princess makes that wish,
She vows to always wait,
For her Prince will surely rescue her,
She knows in her heart it's fate.
