Looking through old photos
Each picture of me I see
My smile fades
Tears come to those eyes
Wishing for better days

I am not myself
I am living the life
of some one else
Pretending nothing is wrong
Saying everything’s fine

Times have changed
Life got worse
more than could ever take
I am tired of hiding
The pain people caused

Tears fall from my eyes
As my world falls apart
From unspoken words of fear
That I kept inside, wondering
Is this life worth it?
