You had that look in your eye.
But looking at me,
I stopped to wonder why.
Never did you love me,
As I found out later on.
But I was the first to walk toward you,
And take you by the arm.
Right as I did,
In that very moment.
You decided that I,
Would do just fine.
But when I didn't amount,
To what was in your mind.
You went and found another girl,
Leaving me far behind.
You left me with a pain,
That I belived would never end.
The pain was not physical,
It was far more deep.
My hear was in two,
With no way to be whole.
My stomach's contents,
Wouldn't stay down.
So one dark night,
I took the knife.
I placed it in my gut
The over whelming pain,
Released the emotions from my body.
And as I drifted off into death,
I smiled-I was finally happy.
