Bad Luck

by Evie   May 25, 2005

I look out the window,
to see whats the weather.
I see snow falling,
like a ton of feathers.

I smile slightly,
remembering all the things,
but just then,
the phone begins to ring.

On the other side,
I hear your voice.
"What do you what to do?
It is your choice."

"First let get ready,"
is my reply,
"I just have to do my hair,
then i will pass by."

"I have class today,
so don't take long,"
I can tell you are smiling
"I still have to sing you my song"

Agreeing i hung up,
yet knowing you have lied.
I sit on the floor,
and try not to cry.

Yet still i know,
that i must be strong.
Today i shall fake a smile,
and act like nothing is wrong.

I have been hurt,
and cheated on before,
so acting strong,
I get off the floor.

Deep inside, though,
I am still in pain.
I look out-side,
melted snow and frozen rain.

Rain and snow at once,
falling down together.
This isn't good,
bad luck always follows this weather.

But then again,
bad luck follows me.
But so dose the truth,
as soon you will see.

I will tell you the truth,
that i am not easily over ruled.
If you had just dumped me,
it wouldn't be like this you fool.
