My Best Friend

I can't express how much I love you,
You mean the world to me.
No one knows me the way you do,
No one knows how we can be.

We are like the same person just split in two,
Your the best friend I've ever had.
No one compares to what you can do,
No one else has made me so glad.

All the times life seemed unfair,
And I thought it had me beat,
As my sister you were always there,
To put me back on my feet.

I don't know what I'd do without you by my side,
I'd clearly lose my way.
It's you that gave me back my pride,
And I'm thankful for you every day.

I hope I can return what you've given to me,
Because you deserve all of that and more.
I just pray you will always see,
The person inside of you that I adore.

Just know I'll always be here for whatever,
Just like you are for me.
Sisters are something that lasts forever,
That's just how it's supposed to be.

    Bides i read this poem before so many times, and with all that is goin on in our lives I am still here for you and I know you are still here for me. shhhhucks bides...u r truely my best friend too. It took us a while to get here but im so happy that we are. Lately, I just you know am confused on who to be, what to be, jus so confused!!whooooo... ive got so much going on in my mind that I just hide it bc i cant even sort out all the issues. I think you saw it at the chinese restaurant with mom after we did the your christmas lights. I hope I can get to where u are...because BIDES you are my idol and have been even when you were mean to me. BUT dont get me wrong...I would stil kick your ass.on a real note though....im sorry I havent been around much for you...like I said we all have things going on but in the end seee-stirs last forever and Im thankful that my since my best friend is my sister...that shit better last too. your an amazing poet...poetic justice up in her or what?!!!!So emotional I am...see look i wrote this long crap
