I felt as if I’d swallowed nails,
I’d only looked at you,
I was scared
Your presence stabbing at my heart,
I wasn’t ready to do this,
I was so unprepared.
I felt as if I was locked into my past,
Of terror,
Of hurt,
Of pain.
As you invaded my present’s hope,
and left me with a stain.
I felt buried in a pathetic world,
the one that used to exist,
Nightmares all calling to me
Just wanting to still persist.
My heart fell a million miles,
Looking down the path I took.
I felt the pain spring back again,
and saw another evil look.
