The touch of first love

by charmed   May 25, 2005

Never say nothing
I have proven it wrong.
I enjoy the feeling
Once so new, so fresh a touch each day.
Now only reduced to bits and pieces of memories
The pieces that I try so hard to join
And dwell on those memories
Each and every second of my breath
The heart feeds itself on just the past
To fill the emptiness, love proves to be food for thought,
For comfort, for survival.
To quench its thirst,
I drink the tears of my bleeding heart.

Never say nothing
I have proven it wrong.
I will never go back,
Never fix anything that went wrong,
For all of it, taught me how
I still long for the pain and the bleeding
For that keeps strengthening my belief in love
A love that touched,
So pure, so serene
I still live alive on those memories.

Never say nothing
I have proven it wrong.
The touch of first love,
Changes everything,
And never let’s you be the nothing again.
