Mist of Dawn

by Danielle   May 25, 2005

Trapped between
In slow motion
And torn apart
By this devotion

A paradise
In sweet tender
Serenity

A single rose
A gentle stare
A mindless heart
Is unprepared

A flower
With dew-dropped petals
Blossoms and glows

A sensation
Rearranges
To surrender
A heart engages

A rainbow
Wrapped in a package
Of milky-white glass

A sparkle
Of golden light
Swirls around
Blurred sight

A white cloud
Surrounded
By yellow glitter

A glimmer
Flashes beneath
Summer water
Under a sheath

A fantasy
Inside a dream
With butterflies
