The Bitter Fruits of Mourning

by Elizabeth Ann   May 26, 2005

I am wed to my bond, as marriage is recorded these bashful memories of another and same commitment, glorifying life as I live…. Gaining in my pride, for everything I’ve done and everyone I’ve loved.

Enlightened, an inspired mind as newly discovered, now she wakes afore an ungodly hour to divest. The bitter fruits of mourning quickly turn and just begun, the positive beginning of today and thereafter, as motivation thrills unto a sound motivation…and this coupe of an idle mind is done.

Today and everyday hereafter, what is or isn’t true pertaining to me, the fault for stress’s disaster will end as subtly whence it begun. And anything less than my genuine smile will find its way out of my head, leaving me stranded…

In exactly the same guise as I left it, or otherwise staggering though familiar, replete within my disorganization toward my potential, I smile…knowing I am and can be, anything I want to be.

Lovely. Entrancing title and worthy subject. I was a little surprised to see that this wasn't a fantasy poem, but you did a great job on it.
    I especially admired these lines,
"I am wed to my bond, as marriage is recorded these bashful memories of another and same commitment, glorifying life as I live…. "
Fantastic beginning pertaining to the following text and beautiful outline.
Ialso loved the last few lines,
"In exactly the same guise as I left it, or otherwise staggering though familiar, replete within my disorganization toward my potential, I smile…knowing I am and can be, anything I want to be. "
You would think that the last line would seem cliche and overdone, but you tied it in well with the piece.
Wonderful symbolism and metaphors, excellent job relating to our life today.
