Hiding My Pain

I try not to cry
When people are around
But when I’m alone
I always break down
No matter what’s happened
How big or how small
When I sit there alone
I hear the pain call
It’s calling my name
It says “hold it all in”
But after so long
The real sadness begins
All I can do
Is sit there and cry
Sometimes I think
I would much rather die
But now others are here
And will be here a while
So now all I do
Is put on a smile

    mariah if this poem is about you, you shouldnt hide your pain like that. it can really cause major damage in the future. trust me. if you have really good close friends you can talk to about private stuff talk to them. it will make you feel better. your poem is great keep writing. love always.
