My Blazon Concubine

by Elizabeth Ann   May 27, 2005

My braun exalts the world as I stand, and I walk my heading rampant since I’d been, a finding posture among hunchbacks whom stare openly, this black sheep whom I give a name.
There the stars in mine eyes meet said numerous glare, pondering envy and slashing fare. Thence I ensue…walking betwixt a saturated line, wreathed in social guises whence aggrieving me hence I rise above it, this transparent brine I cannot taste hath seasoned all, but not I.
Beneath a weary God perhaps I am better or simply stated, as not of a kind amongst my peers and mine some greater mission. Thus making my differences and shared alienation my new willingness, and should that be it, where my passion cast a well of discovery over this world, so it is also my allegiance.

Hitherto my transcendence lasts a day anon a restless infinity, and by said days end I entrust my eyes to claim my victory, where dreams await over the hill in my Otherworld, overwhelming whence I’m awake having lasted nightly this fulfilled inspiration thence I sleep…growing my intuition and an untoward imagination, my blazon concubine.

    Excellent!
The beginning line itself, "My braun exalts the world as I stand, and I walk my heading rampant since I’d been, a finding posture among hunchbacks whom stare openly, this black sheep whom I give a name."
Starts out incredibly powerful drawing the reader into an in depth and poetic state at an early point in the piece.
Yet another life/society poem written extremely well from you. Your vocabulary was impactful and I loved your unique text and language intertwined with your symbolism and outline.
    Wonderful read
