Life as we know it

When i wake up in the morning, i hope that i wont waste my life
on nothing. most of the times, nothing happens on these days.
sometimes bad things happen, and sometimes good things happen; i
don't get to choose. but this morning when i woke up it was different.
i didn't hope something would happen, i realized i cant live my life
hoping that things will happen.if i want something to happen, i have
to make it.

so don't waste your time hoping something will happen.you are the
one who makes things happen in your life and others.

    Just a suggestion... Try completing your sentences, With a little work I think this would be a great poem but you leave each subject so bluntly it dont give a "vision" to the reader. To me poetry is about invisioning the story the person is trying to tell. Anyway.... just a suggestion, and thanks for the comments!
