Always a tomorrow

Hey You!
Yeah, you. The one with the pill bottle or loaded pistol in your hand. Can you stop for a second & think about what you are doing? That bullet will create a hole in your head & that rope will turn your face a cold gray.

So what's the problem? Too much work? Parents a pain? Did you get dumped? Is it really worth losing a great future over, whatever it may be? Right now you may think so, but ten years down the road, when you hold your first child in your arms, will you feel the same?
I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Your parents may be total jerks and you might be under too much pressure, but is it really worth finding out what happens when you die? If u still want to swallow those pills or drink that bleach, it doesnt seem like you are thinking this through enough.

Ive been where you are. Life is like a game show. Sometimes you get a big boat, and sometimes you only get some crummy car wax. All you can do i spin the wheel again and hope for a better prize. And you cant say someone doesnt love you, b/c everyone has someone who loves them. I love you. I love you with all the love a teenager can have.

So, drop that murderer in your hand, whatever it is, and know u will be o.k.. Things always are.

Love,
Somebody who cares

i love the poem and know just where you are coming from but i still believe that holding your own child in your arms as they die is enough to make anyone want to die, but i understand what you mean and it's a really great poem, i hope you start writing again
