Late realization

Walking home on a dark night
i see a chance
i see a light

waking toward the light i think of hope
those people must of thought
i was a dope

i kept walking i wanted to go
and i can tell you know
there was a show

don't know why i thought it great
when i thought i saw
the heavenly gate

i kept walking as it got bigger and brighter
i heard someone yell
somebody stop her!

i did not understand these people afar
then i realized it too late
and got hit by a car
