When the world comes crashing down to your feet
Look down at the world of corrupt and defeat,
But also look down at the world that you use to know,
The one of love, kindness, friendship and know,
That if your world comes crashing down,
And you feel that everythings turned upside down,
Then my shoulder will still be there on which for you to cry,
Because I know the pain that I see in your eye.
And I know the anger thats burning your soul,
And I know the sadness that just wont let go.
I know the feeling that has been forever lost,
But dear love and friendship come at such a high cost.
Ill be there forever, even in memories past.
I will try to comfort your pain with one heart felt grasp.
So don't be afraid to lift up your head,
And recreate that world that you thought was dead,
Words can do anything if they're said with meaning,
Don't be afraid to share your true feelings
Because I was there with you when your world fell down.
I was there with you when the tears fell to the ground.
I was there with you when you were lost in the confusion,

{my best friend Megan wrote this poem for me right before i moved in 7th grade. we never talk and we aren't really even friends.. but it shows how much she cared. best friends leave an impression that can never be erased.}
