This Damn War

by RapMastaT   May 31, 2005

I write this after watching such turmoil in Afghanistan and Iraq made by my country the UK and the USA,I can't stand watching what's going on,it makes me ashamed,so I try to write from a childs point of view, even though no one important that will be able to do anything will read it...

There's nothing I can say,
To make things different,
I wish it could be,
Any other way,
But I can't make it coherent,
I wish we could see,
Everything we want today,
But that can't happen for me,
Because it will be taken away,
Because I'm just not,
Meant to be this person,
And nothing you say,
Can change what I got,
It's all been,
After it's all been said,
It's still another day,
And there is more to be seen,
And one day I'll end up dead,
Maybe on the streets,
Shot by friendly forces,
Maybe the enemy,
Either way,
I wont complain,
Because the streets aren't clean,
And I hardly get fed,
While the kingpins eat treats,
And a three course,
While I get the scraps of the day,
And drink out the drain,
My teeth no longer glean,
And my blisters are red,
They use their guns,
To endorse fear,
And all I want to do is run away,
As the soldiers train,
All I've seen,
Is toil,
Hate,
As the bombs fall,
I wait,
For the stupid countries to refrain,
Because it's getting worse,
Damn this war,
I hear a whine,
I hit the floor.
