The duel of Cats

by Jacob   May 31, 2005

The Duel of Cats
A gray unarmored knight gazes around,
a furry orange warrior challenges him.
Their weapons,
two fists and six daggers.
Three daggers equipped to each foot.

The silence breaks,
they dash towards each other,
screams are heard from both of them.
The two fighters take their battle across the land,
swatting at each other,
bloody daggers in both their names.
Everything in their path is obliterated.

This duel was strenuous but short.
Both combatants,
too tired to fight,
return to their forts.
There will be another time though,
when the gray furry warrior,
challenges the orange unarmored knight.
