Unexpected Death

by 4EvErHeRs   Jun 3, 2005

She seemed bright and happy
Everyone would noticed her smile
But deep down inside of her
She was in denial

Every morning she would wake
To her pillow soaked in tears
Faked her smile so
Her friends wouldn’t see her fears.

Some days she had cuts and bruises
That she couldn’t truly explain
She knew they were from her daddy
But she didn’t want people to know her pain

Finally one dreary morning
Her brother found her dead
Slit her suffering throat
While she was in her freezing bed

She seemed happy to everyone around her
But her smile was just bleak and fake
Now she’s six feet underground
Because her pain, she could no longer take
