Build me a tower

by katie!   Jun 3, 2005

Build me a tower, made of agonies sweat and tears
Black bricks bleeding thoroughly, a castle of fears
Put on the mortar, created with self mutilation, pain
Spread it over the charcoal black cement, bring me the rain

Build me a fortress, standing, dominating the land
Pile on the stone, with the blisters upon your hands
Shadow the decoration, paint me master pieces of self harm
Modeled on past legends, and scars on my arms

Build me high walls, where the mask can be removed
Bleed your heart into them, make the rough become smooth
Agonize the workers, with the hypocrisy in your eyes
Make them truly detest you, make them despise

Build me a room, walls painted with stories and tales
Spiral up, out of control, snakes with coloured scales
Splinter the silence, with sentences dripped with cold
Shatter the world, of a happiness so old

Build me a tower, so I can revel in self hatred and tire
Push it up to the heavens, covered demonic spires
Build me a castle, where I can become a recluse
Pour your soul into the making, I don't want this to come loose.
