You never miss the water..............

There was a time in her life
when love wasn't good enough
She thought she had to have it all
She thought she was so tough

She packed up all her things, feeling no remorse
She thought she was doing well
As this was par for the course

She had done it so many times
and never shed a tear
She walked away from many men
Even ones who held her near

She could always shake it off
For she only loved her dreams
Living life like a fairy tale
Because real it never seemed

Even though she knew that love should take both give and take
She walked away from anyone who make any little mistake

What she would give now to go back to yesterday
and to never feel the loneliness and sadness she lives today

To help her calm her nerves, the doctor gave her a little pill
To help her handle life when she can't pay the bills

She dealt with financial problems nearly all her life but she always had the love that made everything alright

People always said she handled stress so well
but that was long before she was living in a hell

I think that love was present and that's what got her through
The power of love is amazing,
It's too bad she never knew

From the moment she wakes up today, her life is like a hurricane
It seems as if the sunshine will never replace the rain

She is feeling the repercussions
Her life is kicking her butt
But until she finds true love again she just wants to give up

The fairy tale is over - the one she had so long ago
The one she walked away from
because she did not know

Life was oh so perfect but she just walked away
Believe me she is paying for all of her mistakes she made today

The faith of future happiness is what keeps spirits high
If she ever touches love again - she will never say goodbye
