What if the roads lead different ways?

I was looking Into the future,
And thinking about our lives,
I said i want to be a doctor,
And Travel to distant lands,

We all decided on different jobs,
But promised to stay in touch,
But is it true that this will happen,
OR does it happen much,

I wanna live in tropical,
And they want to stay here,
We all will spread apart,
I wonder if i'll see..

When we get to high school,
Will drift apart
Is everything gonna happen like we thought?

We said " lets make the best out of our lives"
But we must all stay together,
But our roads are heading different ways,
Will they ever meet,

And what if today,
i told you that i loved you,
Would you talk to me agian,
Would i plan continue,

All i want to know,
Is our friendship going to continue,
Or will it fall apart.
