Her cries

Can you hear her cries
her cries of pain and suffering
can you see her eyes
with tears of crimson red

can you see her bruises
the ones all up her legs
can you understand her pain
the pain she always dreads

she locks herself up in her room
she hopes no one will see
the blade she holds tight in her hands
is about to scar her wrist

creating pain to cure pain
this is the life she has to live
trying to focus her emotion
trying to hide behind the mask she bears

making heart shaped scars
and playing little games
her arm is now a waterfall
one that holds her biggest secrets, depression and her fears

as she creates this crimson waterfall
she is letting herself go
no more tears will she have to cry
no more pain will she have to endure
and all her fears will be released

with a blade
and a broken heart
this girl no longer lives!!
