Today I saw the Man-of-Steel cry
I thought he was unbreakable, untouchable,
But now I know it was a lie
Tears filled my eyes I did not try to stop
With the man-of-steel down;
It was as if I was in an unprotected flock
I stared thru my blood shot eyes could it all be true
Could the man of steel feel pain too?
I was scared to my soul I could die at any time
I just let the tears flow till I was dry
Now I will live with this forever
Remembering the first tear roll
And think back and wonder what was the toll.
