What is love but a game
a silly game we ALL play?
we are all a pawn in this game of love
but do we know when to stop
or can we stop?
are we drawn to each other in such a way
that we pray
to stay together
and hope it lasts forever
some are lucky and make the long haul
and others drown themselves in a cold pool of hate and lust
no one can trust
this deceiving game
hearts are broken
dreams are shattered
what is the matter?
something that is so sweet
can be a world of broken hearts and shattered dreams?
