Dead On Arrival

~ Dead On Arrival ~

Mysterious, faceless beings,
Screaming,
Weeping,
Softly touching, to feel the gentle hum of my failing heart.
Echoed sirens, fading slowly,
Darkness now taking over.
Blind to hope,
Unconscious to life,
Bleeding, falling, dying.
Shadows of memories dance,
Pretty pain personified,
Limp and vulnerable,
I toss my soul to the sea of hell.
Deep shock pounding my chest,
Faces now clearer,
Pain visible once more,
Silence then follows…….dead on arrival.
