Why?

Why do you judge me with those ice cold eyes?
Why attack me with such deceit and lies?
I don't really care about rumors or shoes.
That in no way gives you power to choose
Who I am, or label me by just a passing by.

Because of my responsibility to decide,
Your taunting me and bein cruel Will never make me hide.
I will laugh because all you're achieving in this school
Is labeling yourself a blind and simple fool.

why should you care for what I say or for the clothes i wear?
Is there no better use of time than the gossip that you share?
I pity you, you wayward soul; who would want a life like yours,
To live to build yourself up by your ripping others down?
All you do is make them look smart and yourself look like a clown.

i hope everyone likes this poem better and i want you guys to know i cant take all the credit for the rewrite because i had a ton of help from Brad Champagne. you all should check his work out his poems are great!
