My eyes are always open

My life has changed
when i got the shocking news
no usage of my eyes
how would it change you

people treat you differently
thinking you can't cope
looking at you weird
when all you have is hope

feeling so lonely
your stuck all alone
people always talking
just want to go home

even though i am blind
i am always hopin'
thinking they are closed
my eyes are always open

think twice when you
run into someone blind
treat them normally
that they won't mind
