Slow motion emotion...

by Sarah-Louise   Jun 10, 2005

I sit there,
Staring into your eyes,
And my walls crash to the floor.

You glimpse back at me,
Just for a second,
And just for that second,
I want you.

You're beside me,
And yet, I already miss you.

My world is changing,
My tears no longer fall for you,
But I'm sure they will again soon.

This slow motion emotion,
It's just too much to take.

As I sit here and wonder,
Just what life would be like,
I remember how it was...

Before you.

A gentle kiss goodbye,
And the butterflies take flight.

I think that I've fallen.

I think that I want you.
