I'll drown you in my tears

by Sarah-Louise   Sep 22, 2005

Another month has come and gone,
And my life's slowly changing,
I thought I'd forgot what we once had,
But my hormones are still raging.

I promised that I'd let you go,
'Cause you'd play me for a fool,
But now I'm sat in tears again,
In this corner, on my stall.

No matter how much I try to win,
I always come out last,
I look in your eyes and there I see,
The memories of our past.

I spoke to HER the other night,
The girl you once slept with,
She said you gave her everything,
You had nothing left to give.

And as my eyes filled up once more,
I send a message to your phone,
I hate to be played up by you,
But I don't like being alone.

I've tried so hard to run away,
But there's not much more to do,
Every time I leave your side,
I end up missing you.

I'm stupid to think you'll be my one,
But there's faith still in my heart,
No matter how bad you treat me Wes,
I can't handle being apart.

I'll hold these tears, I'll keep them safe,
'Cause one day I will win,
And then I'll have a river load,
That I'll happily drown you in.
