Story of a Girl

There was once a girl
She was happy
Carefree
And loved
Until one day
Everything she loved
Was gone
Taken so suddenly
Leaving her alone
She felt so much pain
She cried so many tears
She grew distant from the world
Not trusting a single soul
The longer she was away
The harder it was for her
To get back
She fell into the dark abyss
With only her pain to hold onto
The pain drove her mad
She grabbed the blade
And put it to her wrist
She cried softly
As she prepared to end it
Then she dropped the blade
She didn't have the strength
She didn't have the courage
To end her life
So she went on
The pain slowly consuming her
Forever she wishes
That she could turn back time
Forever she hopes
To go back to once upon a time
But she knows
That what she once was
Will never return
She will never be that girl agian
She has lost so much
And gained nothing
Her soul is gone
Destroyed by pain
She has tried
Many times
But she can never
Force the blade to cut
Her fear consumes her
As she cries
And when the blade falls
Only one thing is on my mind
Why can't i die?
