What You Dont Know

You don't know that every night
before going to bed
I hold my covers tight
thinking of you in my head

You don't know that i can't stop thinking
thinking of your face
My heart starts sinking
and my thoughts begin to race

You don't know that when i say I Love You
I mean it more than anything
and i wouldn't say anything that wasn't true
So you have me wondering

Do you know i write these poems to let you know
Exactly how i feel
because I'm unable to show
What i know is real

But mostly i bet you don't know
That you were my first love
My true love
And forever my only love
