Goodbye friend

I wanted to be your friend
But obviously it had to end,
I liked to talk to you,
There's so much we've been through.
You meant so much to me,
I swear this isn't how it should be.
You said that I meant something to you,
Now your telling me this is through.
You were the best friend I've ever had,
Goodbye now, this makes me really sad.
