My friend of misery

by Arthur   Jun 13, 2005

She just stood there weeping,
Crying for her life
Crying for her heart.

She just stood there screaming
With the weight of the world on her shoulders
My friend of agony, my friend of infelicity.

She just stood there staring,
Staring at dreadful blood
Struggling within.

She just stood there dyeing
Disappearing alone
With her shadow, she left
Never to come back again
My friend of sorrow, my friend of misery.
