Sunlight

by Christopher Cole   Jun 13, 2005

In the morning when I awake
Usually around seven or eight
I eat my breakfast and take a bath
Then I travel along a brand new path

Soon I'm in the beautiful outside
With lots of joy and pride
Two or three or maybe four
As the hours up and soar

The noticeable light
So far and bright
Around about noon
Is the end of all ugly doom

Bright blue and the suns yellow
The sky at noon is so hollow
No cloud in sight
From noon to night

Millions and millions of miles away
There is a sun that is surely to stay
Then around seven and eight or nine
It's known for it to be the darkness time

The sun goes down, the sky gets darker
It no longer gets bluer
The sunlights gone for this day
Hopefully tomorrow it will come back our way
