21st century's playground

by Sabine Taylor   Jun 14, 2005

Snowed under
Heavy summer sunbeams
In between the heat\'s waves
Going to be drowned

Inside out
As raindrops run back toward sky's clouds
And tears hide in eyes' space
Upside down

Freezing bodies in city's streets
Walking on hot asphalt
Dirty it seems to be clean
On 21st century's playground

This poem was inspired by Keane's extraordinary thoughtful album Hopes and Fears .
