Taken away from me

Death lifted you up away from me
Oh how is wish we all could be there;
Your are in our hearts and memory
It just isn’t totally fair.

The hurtful things passed my our mouths
Could never be heard from a mouse;
The shameful things we have done
Has destroyed of from being that combined one.

Your face shall never leave my thoughts or memory
I hear your voice inside of me;
Re-teaching me right from wrong
How to walk and to not fall.

You were always there for us
Why didn’t I see it?
That all you ever did was care for me
And what you did was always helping me
