The You who couldn't Care

by Jessica Rauen   Jun 15, 2005

My bleeding soul is broken,
My heart is bleeding,
My hands reach up to your face,
You turn away,
The moment you turned away my heart shattered,
Shattered into a million pieces,
How can I live without you?

You'd said you loved me
That's you would care for me in my time of need
Well here I am, don't you see the slits on my wrists?
Now why aren't you helping?
I need you now, but you don't care
And now I see the real you

The you who hurts people,
Brakes their hearts,
Lies to them,
Everybody told me,
You told me they lied,
Do you see me here?
With my shattered heart.
I'm lying here
I'm dying here,
I just want you too care.

But you can't can you?
You never could and now I see the truth
Your heart is colder than mine
And mine is breaking and dying
You were the best thing to happen to me
But now you're the worst
All you've done is deal out hurt
And I'm through with that
So get out of my sight, I never want to know you existed
Become part of my past and I'll get on with my future
