I'm content thinking my own thoughts

through my own imperfect, perfectly original body

I prepare for the heartbreak that may never happen
I prepare for a battle that may never commence
I prepare for a loss that i might never lose

But nothing can prepare you
no reading of notes
no cramming of books
No, nothing, no lengths of preparation
can prepare you for life.
