My Prayer

Many times Lord i have fallen
But not once have you failed to pick me up
You give me hope and courage to face my enemies and the tasks you lay before me
For the Lord is my rock and fortress and my deliverer
My God my strength in whom i will put my trust
I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised
So shall i be saved from my enemies(Psalms18- 2,3)
Enemies beware for i rest upon the rock of the almighty
Forever hidden in the shadow of the all-seeing God,
I shall never wallow in self doubt or fear
But take all my troubles to you in prayer for i know you will always be there
Lord reveal to me your will and with this life and strength given to me by you
I will carry out my mission only in the way that best pleases you.
For who am i to second guess?
You are my father and you know best
O Lord, i take refuge in you
Save and deliver me from all that pursue (Psalms7)
I pray you give me the valor and strength i need
To complete the the honor you lay before me
Yet if one day i go astray
just guide me back and i will stay
on this path you lay at my feet
for always i will live for you tender promises so sweet
